i got this ps3 version of assasins creed and it has already freezes for abou 2-3 times. i was running on top of buildings in acra and suddenly i noticed that the game hung and unresponsive. i have to force restart the ps3 console.
i tried disabling the information board though my system not connected online, still not fixed the freezing problem. It has been pretty frustrating as everytime i have to play from start because of the hangs. If the AC freezes the camer and the PS3 buttons working but not the game. The only thing i could do is restart the console.
is there anyway i can fix this? i tried running at 720i and 1080p resolutions and not working. I could observe if the loading goes completed too fast, and the game freezes and if the loading is normal and bit slow, i have not got any freezing issues while gameplay. Having said that you dont know when the game would lock up!
Another issue i am facing with assasins creed is in memory 4 all the icons have disappeared and missions not showing up on the HUD. i have climbed all viewpoints and my missions are not showing up. i am going nowhere.
i really like the game but because of these issues the game is not worth the money!

Just connect to internet and do an update for Assasins Creed 1.10. I did it and it somehow fixed the freezing problem.
