Just one week ago i bought ps3 and gta4 and within 7 days i was able to complete the game quickly! somewhere on the internet i read that it just takes 30hrs to complete GTA4 storyline.

Compared to san andreas its storyline way too short and i am pretty disappointed about it. I was expecting more like aircraft missions, fighter planes and more.. Just nothing there except a limited helicopter ride!
i expected lots of gameplay time from gta4 along and more missions. Once the storyline ended i lost interest in the side missions.
whats more disappointing is there are no planes to fly.

Its not just GTA 4 that is way too short, this is a growing trend with most game companies. Take a look at half-life 2, episodes 1 and 2. Even though they cost almost as much as a full game, each episode offered only a fraction of the playing time of half-life 1 or 2. So the consumer is paying the same price for a game that has 50% – 75% less playing time as compared to games that came out a few years ago.

very well said, Team Fortress. I just cant agree more. I remember those tdays when half-life 1 came out it was like never ending game. PC games are fine but ps3 versions are way too short. If you are good shooter, you can finish of the game within just 2 days.
