I am facing this weird problem with the latest versions of firefox 3+.

When i start typing the url in the address bar of firefox, it gets stuck and after a short delay of time, the correct URL appears. I used to surf lot of new sites and i prefer to type site name in the address bar. But this problem is really a much of nuisance.

I have seen this hang problem only since firefox 3+ and not with earlier versions of firefox. I also tried to disable the history of URLs showing up in address bar, but there is no option in firefox settings.

I would be glad if the developers of firefox comes with some kind of solution on the next update.
