I have often got frustrated with this very annoying problem of gmail with firefox 3. Once i login to gmail and once the interface shows it refreshes again and does a double loading, just as when i open the unread mail.
This is very annoying strange problem and it happened to me number of times over months. Later i found out the source of the problem. It was google toolbar. I removed the toolbar from firefox and everything started working fine.

Just empty all your browser cache and it will get fixed!

i have the same problem.. no google toolbar.. i empty the cache and it works until i load it again and then it’s back to the double loading..
