I have often been asked by lot many of friends that are there any other games that are like GTA which are of open world and free roaming type.
And my answer is yes, there are many many games similar or like GTA, just see below…
(i) Mafia (very nice)
(ii) Godfather (best)
(iii) Scarface (superb)
(iv) True Crime (Newyork City)
(v) Just Cause (good)
(vi) Saints Row 2(Good)
(vii) Wheelman (Superb)
Having played all the above games i can simply say that above games are as good as GTA and of course with a different taste. Many of these games have been released for Xbox, PC and PS3 versions as well.
Talking about GTA series and having played GTA series from GTA I (in 2D) to GTA 4 and i would rate GTA 3 (San Andreas) as the best ever rockstar had ever produced. Kudos to them!
I heard that Mafia 2 and Godfather 2 are coming in late 2009. Just cant wait to play them!

mafia 2 a great gta looking video game .i mean game is same as like gta .the used nyc .the main diffrence is its in early 90s .

You would think that somebody that says he knows alot about Grand Theft Auto would know that GTA: 3 and GTA: San Andreas are two completely different games. LOL
