i recently purchased plug2surf wireless internet USB modem and i was given a CDMA sim card along with USB pluggable pen drive modem.
I tried to connect to internet and everytime i get
“Error 721: The remote computer did not respond”
and still not able to connect to internet once. All i am seeing is authenticating > authenticated and then error 721 with the tata indicom dialer and ofcourse i am able to get full signal strength. Many people were suggesting the possible causes for this error are..
- Negative balance
- SIM not activated
- Weak signal strength.
All of them dont apply to me
This is very disappointing and quite frustrating experience!. I am not sure how to fix this problem.
Please post here if anybody getting the same trouble and if possible a solution.
Update: It appears to be the internet has now started working. I think it was activation problem and they need to come to your home for verification (postpaid). And after that i was able to connect to internet without any problems.

I am also facing the same problem.
Reason behind the error is bill not paid before the duedate.(postpaid)

Recently, I changed my tata indicom CDMA from post paid to pre-paid. Now i am using a new prepaid tataindicom sim for CDMA. But i am getting Error 691- “Access denied because the username and/or password was invalid on the domain”.
Plz help.

wait for 2 days and they will need to do activation or something. i had similar issue when i got new connection and it got fixed after 3 days.
