Sony PSP memory stick can got corrupt!
Just today i purchased Sony PSP along with sony 4gb memory stick pro duo and everything worked fine after formatting the stick in my PSP.
I wanted to load mp3 files to psp from my PC, so i inserted the stick into the holder and then to the sd memory car slot in my laptop. i did overwrite the MUSIC folder and soon after inserting to my PSP it couldnt recognize the memory stick and it just failed!
I tried formatting System settings > Format memory and it failed! i am not sure what caused the stick to fail may be i could have pulled out of my PC without ejecting it.
so handle your memory stick properly!

Cool game blog, I hope you’re going to do some articles on the PSP Go as well.

Dude, I am sitting here with the same problem.
I think you have bought what I did; a fake memory stick. Did you get it of eBay?
I am working on a fix (maybe force mounting it and formatting on Ubuntu)
But I think I will buy a genuine one next time. If you got it via retail; return it immediatley.
Good Luck
