Killing Goliath with Missiles in Resistance 2
I was stuck at this part of game where i had to fire missiles at the exhaust of Goliath and no matter how many times i fire the missile i am struck by rapid firing of rockets. I had tried this over hundred times and seems no way of bringing Goliath down.
Sooner i found out how easy it was! There was no need to bring Goliath down and you just have to run. Here is how you do it..
1. First fire on the cylinders on your left side, near the ammo cache of rocket launcher.
2. Take the rocket launcher and get ready for the Goliath to show his back and he will show you exhaust pipes (red in color with gas).
3. Look carefully a small wooden gate will open (near ammo cache) only when you fire the first rocket.
4. Fire the rocket, refill one and your friend will kick open the wooden gate and just keep running. Follow him.
Thats it! You will eventually reach the side where you will see another backside the Goliath. Fire one more rocket and he will go down!
Damn! That was easy!
