Is this another new problem? Many indians including me did a bank withdrawal on April 7th and we are still seeing the “pending” status and it has been 3 days. It usually takes about 24hrs for the status to get completed and this is quite unusual. Everybody is so converned and worried about another paypal outage.
I have read somewhere a newspaper article saying that “Paypal problems still not over with RBI and paypal was given a deadline of Apr 30, 2010 to respond to RBI.”
Added to this, there is still panic among Indian paypal users and many received an email like this. Although i think, this could be a phishing email, or chances are there that it could be genuine. Still no official word from paypal yet!

Hi Guys,
I have also done to withdrawals one on 9th april and the other on 11th april, I got the funds in my bank for 11th transaction but it was pending for 9th. After calling them 3 times they said the purpose code used was wrong and they reversed the amount and then asked me to do the withdrwal, which i did while talking to them on the phone yesterday ie 15th april. They said now they are not seeing any issue and i will get the funds, today morning i have seen the status and it still says pending donno what will happen now.
This paypal is giving a really tough time to all of us, we should raise a voice and need to do something about it quickly and its better to shift to alternative resources.

What is the status for others. I withdrawn money on 7th and it is still not in my account. Withdrawal status is showing as pending. Paypal sucks a big time.

I am having the same problem. I did a withdrawal on april 8th and still the status is pending in paypal. It s more than 10 days. Let me know if you got the money and what you did. Should I call them. Please let me know whether to wait it out.

Hi,I am having the same problem.. I withdraw money on 8th April and status is still pending.. I tried to contact paypal 4 times, but every time I got following response.
Upon checking your account it shows here that the withdrawal is still in
‘pending’ status.
We are aware of this issue and I sincerely regret the inconvenience it

Your PayPal balance must be withdrawn to your Indian bank account within
30 days of receipt of the funds. You can still use your credit card for
purchases on websites that accept PayPal.
I am fulltime freelancer and completely depend on paypal. I regularly pay TAX but don’t know why RBI and paypal is making my life difficult.

Just writing or blogging about it will not raise a hair on these Fu****ers.
What we have to do is form a group and contact their office branch in india to raise an alarm.
enough is enough! i needed urgent withdrawls this month for my wife’s operation and it is still pending for last 15 days!!!

Some withdrawals are going fine as they used to be but some payments are showing pending. PayPal sucks!

Just wait for 14 days and paypal will do something. They either auto cancel the withdrawals or will complete it. You should remember that it will take 14 days for paypal to trace the problem and then fix it.

They reversed my payment in paypal account and on widraw again I got my payment in bank account. Now I have completely closed my paypal account. F**K Paypal
