St Kitts & Nevis Citizenship-by-investment (CBI) program remains one of the most popular citizenship programs currently running in the Caribbean. According to the caribbeannewsnow.com, the Prime minister of St.Kitts & Nevi, has announced that 10,777 passports has been issued under the CBI program from 2005 to Dec 31, 2015.

These figures describe there is a great booming demand for passports obtained under the economic investment program. According to various reports, passport sale revenue has accounted for 25% GDP of St Kitts & Nevis, kickstarting real estate bubble with soaring property prices in the islands.
Under the CBI program, foreign nationals can obtain a passport in about 6 months, by paying $250,000 (non-refundable) to SIDF or $400,000 real estate property purchase.
As of 10 March 2016, Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) of the St Kitts Government, has issued an advisory notice, resuming accepting of applications from Syrian nationals. Previously Citizens from Syria cannot apply for St Kitts & Nevis.
St Kitts & Nevis citizens can travel to 133 countries without applying for visa with the exception of Canada, USA, China, Russia where a separate visa is needed.
