Indians should be aware that Indian citizenship law, does not allow dual citizenships. The solution is, if you become a citizen in foreign country, apply for Indian OCR passport (same like indian passport no voting rights), then surrender your indian passport, and finally use the foreign passport and OCR to travel.  This second citizenship will be more useful to travel around the world, for NRIs living outside India in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar etc.

Only those indians, who have no criminal record can apply for citizenship in Dominica. All candidates must go through background checks by Dominica government in home country. You must also produce police certificate, birth certificates, health clearance certificate, bank references, business background and other documentation to be eligible for citizenship.
