Malta’s takes the first place in Best Citizenships CBI Passport rankings 2019. Bulgaria takes second place while Cyprus on the third place.
Malta has scored 107 points out of maximum 150 points to take the first spot. Malta scored top marks for due diligence, safety, healthcare, human development index, strong currency.
Bulgaria ranks above Cyprus because Bulgaria also offers citizenship by investment scheme, has E-2 investor visa with US and also is five times biggest economy than Cyprus , has good safety record and better education and health care systems.
Grenada and Dominica take top two places among Caribbean CBI programs. Turkey, Moldova and Montenegro opened their new citizenship by investment programs in 2018.
The rankings index takes into account 25 indicators of countries such as safety, economy, visa free travel, strong currency, due diligence to rank citizenship by investment passports (CIP)
